Day 1. - Arrival Day 11 - Capital area
Arrival at the International Airport Keflavik. Transfer to your hotel in Reykjavík. Further program today depends on arrival time of your flight.

Day 2.  Reykjavik - Þingvellir – Gullfoss – Geysir. 

DAY 2 - Thingvellir - Gullfoss - Geysir

We start the day with a city sightseeing tour. After a break we head east for the most famous tourist route in Iceland, The Golden Circle, and visit the National Park Þingvellir, Iceland's greatest historical site and jewel of nature, the famous Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss, the queen of Icelandic waterfalls.

Day 3.  Reykjavik – the capital of Iceland Day 3 - Reykjavík
We will start the day with a sightseeing tour of Reykavik and vicinity, where you will enjoy some of the many interesting attractions of the Icelandic capital city. 
The afternoon is free for leisure, for shopping, visiting museums, galleries, cafes, spas or swimming pools or going on an individual tour like horse riding, adventure tour or Blue Lagoon. The choice is yours!

Day 4.  Akureyri – Mývatn Day 4 - Lake Mývatn area
Today you will take an early flight from Reykjavik domestic airport to Akureyri, the beautiful capital of the north (45 min). At Akureyri airport a bus will be waiting to take you on a day-tour to Lake Myvatn, one of the most spectacular places in Iceland. Myvatn, one of the biggest lakes in the country, birdlife, volcanoes, craters, hot springs, rock formations and nature sculptures are among sights people love to observe and explore.

Day 5.   Akureyri – the capital of North Iceland DAY 5 - Akureyri
The small capital of the north is quite different from Reykjavik but very popular and beloved for many reasons. On a sightseeing tour in the morning we would like to show you and point out some of the many attractions, and in the afternoon you will have time to explore on your own.

Day 6.  Jewels of the North  Day - 6 - Jewels of the north
Today is a day for an excursion your choice. When we know the interests, age or physical condition of group we could recommend the right tour for you; short or long, driving or hiking, sailing or flying.  The pearls of the north lie all over; - visit the National Park of Jökulsá-river with pearls like Ásbyrgi and Dettifoss-waterfall,  - join a whale watching tour from Húsavik, - take a boat trip to the island Hrísey, - drive between and explore the nice villages north of Akureyri, - go on a hiking tour in the mountains, - cross the Arctic Circle by flying to Grimsey, a small island 40 km off the north coast. Do you think you need one more day in Akureyri?!

Day 7.   Akureyri – Reykjavik DAY 7 - Akureyri - Reykjavík
The road distance between the two capitals is ca 390 km. Today we will drive this way back to Reykjavik and enjoy on the way the Icelandic nature and learn more about country and people from our qualified and experienced local guide. We will take our time and stop at some interesting places for refreshment, short walks or to observe and explore. The location of your last overnight stay depends on time of your departure flight.

Day 8. Departure Day 8 - Departure
Transfer to the airport and we hope your had a great visit!
